Practical venue informationAccommodationsWe have an agreement with one hotel in the center of Brest, and prebooked a number of rooms for the workshop participants.
When booking your room, ask for the Arctic Days / Les journées de l'Arctique - University of Brest special rates (61.88 eur/d incl. breakfast).

To come to IUEMA shuttle bus will be available from downtown Brest (close to Hôtel de la Rade) to IUEM every morning and from IUEM to downtown Brest in the evening.

Tickets can be purshased from the conference desk (6.64 euros) or directly at the RU (tickets provided for the invited speakers).On Wednesday 14th, a "crepes" diner will be served at the Yacht Club for all registered participants (from 19:30). On Thursday 15th, a cocktail-diner will take place at the BLP Library, nearby IUEM. All registered participants are welcome, including Master students (from 19:00). Brest airport (BES) has several links with French and foreign cities
(Paris, Lyon, London, ...). Airlines include Air France, FlyBe (from
UK), Easyjet (Paris CDG, Lyon), etc. Check the BES airport website. By
train, from Paris Montparnasse station, it takes 4h00 to 4h30 to reach
Brest using the TGV fast train. Brest is at the line terminus. Check
the SNCF train company website. Local transportationThe easiest way to get to the Institute is to take public transportations and to use the bus line nr. 2. It goes from the train station, city center directly to the Institute (bus stop "de Rochon").The new tram line (inaugurated in June 2012) is also available. The tram takes you from/to Brest city center to/from Porte de Plouzané, the line terminus. Regular buses to/from the tram terminus from/to he Institute are available (lines 2 and 13; bus stop "de Rochon").
